For companies seated within the EU, tax registration (and tax representation) can be applied. The tax representative fulfils the tax liabilities of the represented company and exercises their rights. Contrary to fiscal representation, the represented entity can act personally and also through another representative in from of the Hungarian Tax Authority. Also, companies seated within the EU can also appoint a fiscal representative – in this case, the stricter rules related to this form of representation apply.
